About Transitions – Grateful Life Center – Erlanger
Transitions Grateful Life Center is a residential drug rehab facility for men in Erlanger, Kentucky. They provide long-term care in a community setting that emphasizes peer support and mutual accountability. This program is voluntary. Transitions Grateful Life Center serves Kenton County and beyond. It’s located just 10 miles south of Cincinnati.
Men have access to education, counseling, therapy, case management and other recovery-focused services. The facility is part of the Recovery Kentucky initiative and aims to reduce the state’s drug and homeless issues.
Transitions is a nonprofit charity that’s accredited by CARF and licensed by the state. Since 1969, Transitions has been serving Northern Kentucky’s less fortunate residents.
The Grateful Life Center can accommodate 110 men. It’s designed in such a way that men who’ve been in the program longer mentor the newer residents. I like that this buddy system ensures that every resident has a peer to support and encourage them and show them the ropes.
Of course, staff, 12 Step mentors and other community members are also part of each man’s recovery team. I appreciate that here they offer gender-specific care and address the needs that men have in recovery. Residents have access to primary care and onsite mental health therapy.
I’m impressed that this facility has a 4.2-star rating. Most clients had many great things to say about the program, the staff and the campus.
