Tri-County Behavioral Healthcare, Conroe in Conroe, Texas, is a mental health and substance use disorder treatment facility for adults and youth ages 13-17. This facility accepts Medicaid and private insurance and has state funding to assist those who may qualify and don’t have insurance.
This center provides intensive outpatient treatment and co-occurring mental health services. If you require detox or a more intensive treatment, you may be referred to another facility for help.
Their outpatient program is open to those that live in the counties of Austin, Brazoria, Chambers, Colorado, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Liberty, Matagorda, Montgomery, Walker, Waller and Wharton. This program generally lasts 10 to 12 weeks with meetings sessions times a week. Treatment focuses on client education; individual, group, and family counseling; case management and individual treatment planning. While enrolled in this program you will be randomly drug tested to ensure your compliance with the program. You will take part in a state approved evidenced-based matrix model. They provide day and evening times to accommodate your schedule.
The youth program provides individual and family counseling, along with parent sessions without the youth. The youth will take part in anger awareness/management skills development, problem solving skills training, refusal skills development, coping with cravings training and developing a support system for sobriety. Youths will also be randomly drug tested regularly to ensure that they are in compliance with the program.
Different treatment interventions that are offered here include cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma informed care, motivational interviewing, and seeking safety. All of these programs are evidence-based to help you live your best sober life.
