Trinity Health Addiction Recovery–Livonia Hospital offers mental health and substance use disorder treatment for youth and adults. They provide intensive outpatient, general outpatient, and aftercare. They accept Medicare, military insurance, and sliding scale payments based on your income.
If you’re medically stable, you can undergo detox in their outpatient program. You’ll be medically monitored and may be prescribed FDA approved medicines to make withdrawal safer and more comfortable. They also have a medication assisted treatment program for people recovering from opioid or alcohol dependency. Longer term use of approved medications helps reduce your cravings and decrease your relapse risk.
Their intensive outpatient program gives individuals a structured and personalized treatment plan to help them overcome their addiction. They focus on educational groups that provide awareness of the disease as well as relapse warning signs, coping skills, and trigger recognition. You can also be introduced to 12 step programs to help you maintain your momentum. You can even get great treatment virtually from the comfort of your own home.
One of the best things about this program is their early recovery group for alumni. It’s designed for those who have completed the IOP or have been sober for at least 30 days. Their peer support group meets weekly and helps you celebrate your success, learn from one another, and deepen your sober support network.
