About Turning Point Treatment Center – Franklin
Turning Point Treatment Center was a drug rehab facility located in Franklin, Pennsylvania. They served men and women who were struggling with substance use, and they had experience helping those who’ve relapsed or struggled with their sobriety overall. Due to several factors the Turning Point Treatment Center permanently closed its doors in December 2020.
This beautiful building dates back to the 1890s as it was originally the home of a successful lumber baron. Today, the historical charm of the home remains intact but now serves as a residential space for men and women who are working toward their sobriety. They also offer detox support, and there’s an outpatient clinic located on campus as well.
Situated on 24 wooded acres that overlook the Allegheny River, this was a beautiful, calming and tranquil environment for you to work through your addiction struggles. Clients enjoyed luxury amenities including spacious living rooms, open community spaces and beautiful walking grounds.
Turning Point Treatment Center specialized in working with individuals who had complex substance use disorders including addictions to opioids and other chemicals. They had a long term recovery program that spanned anywhere from 90 to 120 days.
If you were someone who struggled with their sobriety, has relapsed, or needed more intentional care, this program would have helped you. It was thoughtfully structured but incorporated plenty of ways for you to develop your independence while learning the skills to remain sober. Some of the resources to help you support your independence included classes to complete your GED, vocational skills development and other life skills supports.
