UConnectCare Behavioral Health Services is a rehab center in Batavia, New York. It used to be called GCASA. This particular location is an outpatient treatment center but it has residential programs at other locations too. The bulk of UConnectCare’s outpatient treatment is counseling where you’ll work through issues that play a part in addiction along with learning more about addiction and learning skills to prevent relapse. If you have opioid addiction, this rehab has an outpatient methadone clinic, where they offer methadone to help reduce your cravings.

Clients have mentioned that this treatment center is especially good at personalizing each person’s treatment and understanding that the same things don’t work for everyone. Specifically, while they introduce you to 12 Step programs they don’t force them on you and they present plenty of alternative ways to stay sober.

Levels of Care

12-Step

Aftercare Support

Completing a drug or alcohol rehab program shouldn't spell the end of substance abuse treatment. Aftercare involves making a sustainable plan for recovery, including ongoing support. Inpatient

Ideal for those who've just been through inpatient or outpatient treatment, SLHs are supervised environments with rules that support sobriety, such as curfews, shared chores, and therapeutic meetings. Residents are also often trained on life skills and coping skills to make it easier to transition into society. SLHs also provide a strong sense of community that can lead to the kind of deep and lasting connections with other sober individuals that supports a new, healthy lifestyle.
