About UNC Horizons – Falstaff Road – Raleigh
In Raleigh, North Carolina, UNC Horizons is a substance abuse treatment program for women. In addition to prenatal and postpartum care, program participants will also receive family planning education and contraception.
For perinatal women who are released from prison, UNC Horizons helps them transition and avoid overdose, strengthen financial stability, and find employment. The goal is to avoid recidivism and increase positive parenting.
Preferences for treatment at UNC Horizons is given to women injecting substances and pregnant women with substance use disorders. Care coordination and transportation is included in all programs.
