About United Recovery Project – Luxury Rehab in Florida – Hollywood
United Recovery Project is a luxury rehab facility offering comprehensive treatment services for alcohol and substance use disorders. They also treat dual diagnosis (co-occurring disorders). They’re located in Hollywood, Florida, and they accept insurance from many different carriers.
The South Florida facility has a low client-to-staff ratio and they have inpatient and outpatient programs. The inpatient living facilities are separated by gender though much of the treatment is coed. The first step is detox. You’ll have the option of a medical detox which means you’ll be given medications to ease your withdrawal symptoms. Once you’re through the detox stage, then you’re ready to do the physical and mental work to achieve and maintain sobriety.
In the first week of your inpatient stay, you’ll meet with a medical doctor and psychiatrist who will put together a treatment plan to address your unique needs. If you have a co-occurring disorder like anxiety, depression, or bipolar disorder then you’ll be given medication or have your medication adjusted if appropriate.
You’ll attend daily group sessions and go to 12-step meetings like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). Another common therapy option is cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) where you’ll work on identifying negative thought patterns and changing them to more positive thoughts. At the center, they take a holistic approach and teach you how to restore your immune health and strength through good nutrition and fitness. There are also creative therapies like equine, art, and music therapy.
If you can’t commit to inpatient therapy or you need a high level of support after graduating from the inpatient program, you can attend the partial hospitalization program (PHP). The PHP allows you to live at home or in a sober living situation while attending treatment most of the day. You’ll have access to many of the same evidence-based therapies available in the inpatient program.
There’s also an intensive outpatient program (IOP) which is appropriate if you’ve had a relapse or you don’t need the high level of support that the PHP or residential treatment provides. Clients in the IOP participate in group, individual, and family therapy as well as 12-step recovery models. You’ll work on your communication skills and recovery plan. There are workshops, outings, equine therapy and relapse prevention education. All the programs offer dual diagnosis treatment.
