About Unity Hospital – Greece
Rochester Regional Health used to be called Unity Hospital of Rochester. They provide alcohol and drug rehab services to teens and adults in Rochester, New York. Detox, inpatient treatment, outpatient treatment, medication assisted treatment (MAT), and aftercare are offered. Those with dual diagnosis are treated within each program. They also accept clients under court orders.
At Rochester Regional clients at all levels of care may receive medication management. This program combines FDA approved medications with mental health therapy. Medications help manage withdrawal symptoms, reduce cravings, and stabilize your body.
MAT is provided in conjunction with medical detox. Detox may take place in the facility with supervision or at home, depending on your situation. After detox, you’ll transition into an inpatient or outpatient setting.
The inpatient program is for adults and lasts between 14 and 28 days on average. Individual therapy, group therapy, recreational therapy, and educational classes are provided. Additionally, goal planning, skills development classes, medication management, and discharge planning are offered. Custom meals include Kosher and vegetarian options. Dieticians and translators can be consulted if needed. Rcohester also has assistance for those who are hard of hearing or vision impaired.
The outpatient program consists of individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy. These are similar to the inpatient program, except you won’t need to stay overnight. A specialty track is available for teens. Additionally, the outpatient program offers an impaired driver program.
After you complete your recovery program, the PROS program can help with social services. They provide tips for finding housing, continuing therapy, and primary care if needed.
