The Guayama Community Based Outpatient Clinic is a Satellite of the Ponce VA Outpatient Clinic and of the San Juan VA Medical Center, and was established in 2003 to improve access to Primary Care services for veterans in Southeast Puerto Rico. Guayama Community-Based Outpatient Clinic offers outpatient treatment for veterans suffering from mental health issues.

Some of the services offered by VA Caribbean Healthcare System – Guayama CBOC include Behavioral Health Care, Community Integration, Prescriptions, and Care of Chronic Conditions.

They also provide Veterans with Telehealth, for access to health care that is timely, more convenient and easier to access through the use of new health care technology including video conferencing and health monitoring devices that can connect patients to their health care team.
