VA Palo Alto Health Care System – Monteray CBOC, located in Marina, California, provides outpatient behavioral health care services, dual diagnosis treatment, and trauma treatment to active military personnel and Veterans. Those with addiction issues may need to be referred to an alcohol or drug rehab center.
The outpatient program begins with an assessment to properly diagnose each client and to help create a suitable treatment plan of care. Clients will have access to psychiatric care, medication management and review, EMDR treatment, case management services, individual therapy, group therapy, and referral services. If a higher level of care is needed, individuals may be referred to a partial hospitalization program or inpatient treatment program.
