About Valley Oaks Health – Crawfordsville
Located in Crawfordsville, Indiana, Valley Oaks Health is an outpatient behavioral health clinic. Here you’ll find high quality mental health and addiction treatment including outpatient group therapy, medication management, crisis intervention and psychological assessments. They use the philosophy that good health is a fundamental need and a basic right. In coordination with Montgomery County Jail, Valley Oaks provides a jail based addiction treatment program.
Substance abuse treatment at this facility includes a combination of group and individual therapy sessions. There are three different group options to choose from for treatment including relapse prevention, recovery management, and the addictions group. You’ll also receive case management and medication assisted therapy if needed.
The crisis intervention team provides same day emergency services to people experiencing psychosis, suicidal thoughts, or some other psychiatric crisis. Case management will work with you to improve stabilization or improve social and behavioral functioning. Skills trainers will educate you on conflict resolution, coping, and parenting skills. They can also inform your family and friends about mental health and how to support loved ones.
One unique component of treatment services at Valley Oaks is that you’ll have access to Valley Enterprises, a program that will help you obtain and maintain employment. They’ll help you develop job skills, prepare for interviews, and resume assistance. They also work with local employers to create nontraditional jobs within the community when needed.
