Viewpoint Health – Rockdale Center in Conyers, Georgia, provides outpatient mental health and addiction treatment. They have more than 30 service programs to help youth and adults with their mental health struggles. These can include addiction, personality or mood disorders, psychiatric conditions, self-harm and suicidal ideation.
Their programs include both adolescent and adult crisis stabilization units as well as school based programs. Depending on your needs, you can also access day programs, short term residential programs or court treatment programs. They also offer practical assistance through employment, transportation and housing support.
The adolescent stabilization unit offers care seven days a week, 24 hours a day to youth ages 14 to 17. The adult stabilization unit is for ages 18 and older. The Autism Stabilization Unit helps individuals ages 10 to 14 who are struggling with activities of daily living and social behaviors. The primary focus of treatment on the ASD Crisis Stabilization unit is Applied Behavioral Analysis Therapy. Distress tolerance and emotion regulation are the two main areas of focus within treatment programming.
Treatment is focused on evidence-based therapy models such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy and experiential therapy. Treatment methods also include medication monitoring and recreational and outdoor activities. Individual, group, and family therapy programs are available in all levels of care. Inpatient, day, and outpatient community treatment programs are used in conjunction with peer support programs, medical and psychological case management by qualified mental health and medical professionals.
