About Volunteers of America Northern Rockies – Booth Hall – Gillette

Located in Gillette, Wyoming, Volunteers of America Northern Rockies – Booth Hall is a reentry program for adults who have been incarcerated. The facility can house up to 144 men and women, broken down to 128 men and 16 women, at any given time.

Even though it’s a correctional facility, Booth Hall focuses on rehabilitation. Of course, there’ll be AA meetings, therapy, and health education classes. But they also have credited college courses, parenting classes, and job training. Over 75% of inmates released find jobs and do not get rearrested.

Inmates also have access to some amenities like a gym, library, computer access, and financial planning. The goal is to facilitate a successful reintegration and provide the tools and addiction treatment necessary to create long term change.

Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.
