Walden House Care Facility provides behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment for adults in San Francisco, California. Their programs include medication assisted treatment, gender-specific residential treatment and outpatient treatment that incorporates evidence based practices within a therapeutic environment. Specialized services are available for clients with co-occurring conditions and clients with HIV/AIDS.
Their MAT services allow clients to safely withdraw from opioids, alcohol, and other substances under medical supervision. As required, providers can administer FDA-approved addiction medications to improve client comfort, minimize drug cravings, and mitigate the risk of relapse. This program also works with high risk populations from various backgrounds. The services include integrated mental health services, medication management, case management, individual and group therapy, primary medical care, elective chronic disease management, specialized services for women, family advocacy and reunification, parolee services, workforce development, and housing resources and referrals. A care coordinator will support the process of creating an individual treatment plan that lasts for an average of 90 days.
