About WestBridge – Elm street – Manchester
Popular for its rich culture, history, and commerce, Manchester, New Hampshire is also home to WestBridge – Elm Street. What started as a men’s treatment center in 2001 has expanded to offer intensive outpatient programs for adults of all genders. They welcome people experiencing mental health conditions with or without co-occurring substance abuse disorders.
With outpatient care, you can live at home and attend treatment. Their program provides in-person and virtual services to fit your unique needs. You can access three hours of daily programming, including case management, family support, group and individual counseling, and psychiatric consultation.
What stands out most to me is their emphasis on family involvement. They understand that addiction is a familial disease. It doesn’t just affect you but also your loved ones. You and your family can access encouragement, education and resources for growth and healing. They offer skill-building, problem-solving, family peer support, online groups, clinical updates and more. These approaches can help you rebuild relationships so your loved ones can support you and themselves throughout this journey.
Another feature that caught my eye was their gender-specific services. From residential treatment to specialized programs, men can access a full continuum of care. Their programs offer a tailored approach accounting for the unique role gender plays in addiction. You’ll benefit from targeted care to understand how to enhance overall wellness and promote sustained recovery.
I also think their Community Integration Program (CIP) is great. You access multiple wraparound services, including education, volunteering opportunities, smoking cessation, and more. I think one of the best services is their housing and financial ones. Securing permanent housing and self-sufficiency can greatly aid in your recovery journey. They provide education and assistance with budgeting, housing maintenance, and financial management to set you up for success.
