Westbrook Health Services is a mental health facility that offers drug and alcohol rehab services. It is located in Parkersburg, West Virginia. They treat people with alcohol use disorder and substance use disorder. They also provide treatment for people who struggle with addiction issues and a mental health disorder at the same time. They take most forms of private insurance.
They have a medical staff that will give you an intake assessment. If you need medication to ease the pain of detox, they can provide it to you.
They offer both a coed program and gender specific programs. Their gender specific programs provide a 3.1 level of care by the American Society of Addiction Medicine standards. This means they are a low impact clinic. They provide housing and around five hours of therapy a week.
The Genesis program for women is voluntary and can accommodate 15 women at a time. They treat women with young children and those who are pregnant. The Exodus men’s program has 12 beds. The clients there are all there voluntarily as well.
Their Amity program is Coed. It has 15 beds and is considered a high-intensity program. Clients will have a full day of treatment, and the staff is available around the clock.
Both types of programs focus on treating people who have been to outpatient treatment but have not successfully quit using drugs or alcohol. Clients are treated with group and individual therapy.
If you do not need residential treatment you can get outpatient care here. The level of outpatient care you need will be determined by your assessment.
