Western Pacific Med Corp (WPMC) is a private substance abuse treatment center. They provide clients of all ages with specialized opioid and alcohol addiction treatment through outpatient and medication assisted services (MAT). Outpatient (OP) treatment is also known as a day program and allows clients to receive treatment without living at the facility. Appointments are available flexibly to accommodate a client’s busy life.
Clients in the outpatient program participate in individual and group counseling, case management, relapse prevention training, and addiction education. WPMC also provides specialized treatment services for pregnant clients. All clients receive discharge planning and medical screenings.
Opioid addiction is typically treated with special medications approved by the FDA for curbing intense cravings and withdrawal symptoms. WPMC uses buprenorphine, methadone, and naloxone for MAT. MAT combines this medication with the outpatient program’s services.
Many opioid and alcohol addiction treatment programs accept major insurance plans like BlueCross BlueShield, Aetna, Anthem, Cigna, and HCSC. Clients are advised that out of network benefits may vary, so they should confirm coverage with their plan before joining a treatment program.
