About Western Youth Services – Anaheim
Western Youth Services has several locations throughout Orange County, California including Anaheim. They offer trauma informed care for children, youth and families. Their mission is to advance youth, strengthen communities and cultivate success through behavioral and mental health services. They provide outpatient mental health treatment services, crisis management and intervention training, and behavioral health training. They also offer community care coordination and school based services.
They have a Seper Resilient Youth program which is a research based mental wellness curriculum to give youths the power to overcome and break trauma cycles within their families. They also offer an ACEs Expertise program. ACEs stands for Adverse Childhood Experiences, and the program aims to create a better world for children who’ve had negative childhood experiences or experienced toxic stress in or out of the household. The benefits of ACEs are prevention, early detection, early intervention, education, empowerment and positive outcomes.
