About Women of Hope – Modesto
Nirvana Drug and Alcohol Treatment Program in Modesto, California, has been around since 1997. They have both men and women’s residential treatment as well as outpatient and aftercare options.
Their women’s residential program is called Women of Hope and can house 16 residents. You’ll participate in a very structured program that includes group and individual therapy, educational workshops, meals and snacks and recreational activities. You’ll also be introduced to the 12 Step program. Every client is different but generally stays are typically between 30 and 90 days.
During business hours you can connect with a staff member and ask questions via chat. For some people, using chat instead of a phone call may be more comfortable, so I like that Nirvana offers this option.
After residential treatment, you can step down into intensive or general outpatient treatment. You can choose between morning or evening group sessions. You’ll also schedule individual therapy sessions with your counselor.
Former clients say that staff are genuinely kind and supportive, the facilities are clean and give women hope for the future. While some past residents disagree, most have positive things to say.
