About Woodhaven Residential Treatment Center – Dayton
Woodhaven Residential Treatment Center offers inpatient addiction treatment for adults in Dayton, Ohio. Their residential program specializes in detox and withdrawal management, but it also includes case management where applicable, crisis intervention services and secure sober housing. If you need a different level of care, Woodhaven also offers a partial hospitalization program (PHP, an intensive outpatient program (IOP) and a regular outpatient program.
The program lasts for as long as you need and ends when you’re medically cleared from withdrawal management. After you’ve been in the program for 30 days, your family and loved ones are allowed to visit you during designated visiting hours.
During your stay at Woodhaven, you’ll partake in individual and group therapy sessions. Individual therapy sessions allow you to work through personal issues contributing to substance misuse, develop healthy coping mechanisms and build habits and thought patterns which support long term sobriety. Group therapy sessions create a supportive and understanding environment where you can share your experience with others going through a similar journey. Woodhaven runs different types of group sessions, including skill building groups, psychoeducational groups and process groups. Each type of meeting focuses on a different aspect of addiction and sobriety, giving you a well rounded healing experience.
For many people facing addiction, staying sober is just as challenging as getting sober in the first place. To help you prevent relapse, Woodhaven offers Vivitrol injections. Vivitrol works by blocking the effects of illicit substances and reducing cravings. This makes it easier to stay in recovery comfortably. They also provide extensive aftercare planning services to ensure you continue to feel supported and stable after your treatment ends.
