About YMCA – Y Haven – Cleveland
You all know about the YMCA, but did you know about Y Haven? In Cleveland, Ohio, Y Haven provides substance use disorder treatment for men and women. Choose the right level of care for your needs: residential, intensive outpatient or general outpatient. If you have co-occurring mental health disorders, Y Haven can help. Y Haven does not turn people away even if they can’t pay.
Y Haven focuses on the most vulnerable adults. This means those who are experiencing homelessness, recently incarcerated and those struggling with opioid use.
The residential program offers 24/7 support and security. You will be in a shared, furnished suite with one or two others. Each unit has a kitchen and bath. You can refer yourself or a loved one and intake staff will get back to you quickly. They admit new people twice a week.
All levels of care off group and individual counseling, health care and other supportive services like case management. The medication-assisted treatment of Vivitrol and Soblocade are offered by Y Haven partners. They also offer follow-up care for 6 months after exiting the program as well as recovering housing for any clients that need it.
I think the most unique offering of Y Haven is their Steps & Stages play. Y Haven works with Cleveland Public Theatre to create an original theatrical production performed by Y Haven residences. You can experience the power of the arts and develop new skills and confidence as you share your experiences. All proceeds benefit Y-Haven.
