About Youth Advocate Programs – Lower Hudson Valley – Monticello
The Youth Advocate Programs is a facility located in Monticello, New York. Here at this facility, they provide a variety of services to children who are struggling with mental health conditions and substance abuse disorders.
This facility provides intensive outpatient services which assist your child to receive healing and recovery. This will consist of weekly therapy sessions and an individualized treatment plan to help your child succeed and move forward.
They also offer traditional outpatient services which are similar to intensive outpatient but less intense. Though weekly counseling will still be part of the treatment plan it will be fewer sessions throughout the week. Your child will still work closely with licensed psychiatrists to develop a care plan and they will also assist with medication management.
Their Youth and Young Adult Justice program offers services to youths who are at high risk or have been involved through the criminal justice system. This is similar to a wraparound model which helps heal not only your child but your family as well.
Cognitive behavioral therapy, life skill development, and problem solving to help your child utilize healthier skills and coping mechanisms. They will assist with creating individualized plans as well as safety plans providing accountability, structure, and support.
