About Youth Advocate Programs – Schenectady County – Schenectady
Youth Advocate Programs – Schenectady County is located in Schenectady, New York. At this location they offer a multitude of services to children, adolescents and teenagers who are struggling with co-occurring and behavioral disorders.
They provide both intensive outpatient and traditional outpatient treatment as well as a child welfare program. Their intensive outpatient treatment takes place throughout the week and offers a more rigorous approach for treatment, meeting anywhere from three to five times per week. Your child will be working closely with licensed clinicians and counselors to assist and guide them to get the healing they need. During outpatient treatment, they will also have an individualized treatment plan to achieve goals and identify their strengths and weaknesses. Holistic therapies and coping skills will be incorporated in both group and individual therapy sessions.
The Child welfare program assists children who are no longer in their parent’s care. They help children who may be put in foster care or transitioning out of transitional services. They also offer help with parenting support and interventions.
