About Youth & Family Services – Fremont
Located in Fremont, California, the City of Fremont Youth and Family provides outpatient services to children, teens, and adults seeking support with their mental health. It is important to note that this is not an alcohol and drug rehab center, but individuals are encouraged to discuss concerns around addiction.
The outpatient program offers individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, couples counseling, referral services, and more. If a person is determined to need a higher level of care than outpatient Treatment can provide, they may be referred to a treatment center that can provide partial hospitalization treatment, inpatient treatment, or residential levels of care.
As a person progresses and their outpatient program, it is customary to slowly reduce the amount of time spent in treatment each month to focus one’s attention on their daily life as much as possible. Aftercare commonly consists of ongoing mental health counseling, self-help groups, and alumni groups.
