About AA – Alcoholics Anonymous – Montclair
Located in Montclair, California, AA Alcoholics Anonymous Provides 12-step meetings to men and women aged 18 and older who are in search of recovery support. It is important to note that this is not a traditional alcohol-in-drug rehab treatment center but instead provides peer-led programs at no cost.
AA Alcoholics Anonymous Functions on an outpatient basis. Individuals attend regular meetings, learn about the traditions and steps outlined in the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous, work the steps, obtain a sponsor, and in time, sponsor newcomers. Each person is in charge of his recovery and must take responsibility for their healing. If a higher level of care is needed to stabilize somebody who may be in danger of hurting themselves or others, they should seek treatment at an inpatient treatment center.
AA Alcoholics Anonymous does not take insurance. Individuals who are interested in using their insurance to pay for any type of treatment, are encouraged to contact the insurance provider before starting treatment because out-of-network benefits may vary.
