Assessing and treating alcohol and substance abuse disorders, the UAB Addiction Recovery Program is located in Birmingham, Alabama. They do not accept Medicaid or Medicare. They do accept self pay and private insurance.

They offer an intensive outpatient program. If you need to detox or are in the middle of detoxing, they provide a safe place for you to complete that process. Their treatment services are available for both men and women. Daily group therapy, education and family sessions are included. Weekly individual and psych evaluations are available. They also offer medication assisted treatment if needed.
