About ANR Clinic – Advanced Opioid Treatment – Tampa
ANR Clinic’s Advanced Opioid Treatment is located in Tampa, Florida. This is an outpatient treatment drug rehab facility that uses a scientific approach to recovery. They work with adults who need support for their opioid use struggles. This facility is run by an addiction recovery specialist, Dr. Waismann, and his support staff.
Dr. Waismann is the pioneer of the recovery approach, Accelerated Neuro-Regulation (ANR) This therapy treats opioid dependence and the withdrawal symptoms that are associated with detox. The aim of this approach is to help regulate an individual’s central nervous system by encouraging it to resume normal endorphin production. Treatment is judgment free, compassionate, and treats the root cause of opioid dependency.
This recovery approach is broken into four steps. You’ll first be admitted into the facility where lab work and prep work will take place. You’ll undergo sedation so that you can navigate withdrawal symptoms without having to feel the pain associated with your withdrawal symptoms. The next stage of the recovery process happens after the sedation has worn off four to five hours later.
You’ll then be discharged from the facility. This usually happens a day later. After discharge, your stabilization monitoring will begin. You will come into the facility and will work with your care team to assess your stabilization and your overall recovery.
Recovery education will take place during this time, and you’ll learn about the importance of continuing physical activity and maintaining a proper diet. Optimization follow-ups will take place to ensure you are still on the right path to recovery.
This treatment approach is unique because the regulation of a recovering individual’s endorphin receptor system is one of the newer approaches to care and can offer promising results.
