Charlotte’s Place Clubhouse provides outpatient-style peer support, meaningful work, and oversight by professional staff. By completing volunteer services and maintenance or operational tasks within the Clubhouse, members may experience a reduction in the disabling effects of mental and behavioral disorders. The Clubhouse model helps participants avoid mental health and substance use crisis hospitalization.
Clubhouses can provide life skill training, vocational training, and employment assistance. They may provide housing support that helps members become successful contributors to their communities.
Services at Charlotte’s Place or other services clients are referred to may be covered by a variety of insurance plans, such as Cigna, Humana, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Amerigroup, Ambetter, United Healthcare, and more. Insurance plans vary, so be sure to verify coverage information and out of network benefits with the insurer.
