Thunder Road used to provide intensive youth services before being acquired by BACS in 2016. BACS provides substance use care as part of their CARE Court Support Services and their Wellness programs.
Something great about the BACS treatment model is that the care team focuses on your strengths. Through their programs, you can develop your existing skills and build the confidence needed for lifelong healing.
Whether you’re facing substance use, incarceration, generational trauma, or poverty, BACS uses your strengths to overcome these issues and find a fulfilling place in your community.
BACS’ CARE Court Supportive Services are designed to give those in the CARE Court system the help they need. Their services start with addressing mental health and substance use concerns, stabilizing your condition to avoid causing permanent damage to your health, relationships, vocation, or criminal status.
Once stabilized, you’ll receive assistance finding housing and a job. They also have family education services which teach you practical family skills, like managing your finances or looking after children’s nutrition.
The Wellness initiative aims to empower you to take charge of your physical and mental health. The team works with you to create a personalized wellness plan which incorporates physical activity, nutritional eating, adequate rest and restoration time, and mental health habits.
They connect you with nearby resources and service providers who can support your behavioral health goals.
