About Beacon Center – Herkimer
Beacon Center has outpatient programs if you’re struggling with substance addiction. They use medications with their recovery programs to help you along the way. They’re located in Herkimer, New York and it’s down the street from Myers Park.
Through assessment and individualized treatment plans, you’ll navigate your recovery and strengthen your relationships to support you in building a healthier and happier life free of drugs and alcohol. You’ll do this through therapy to address your mental health challenges and past trauma. You’ll also participate in recovery education to develop the skills you need to maintain your sobriety.
Their program is pretty intense. Participants attend one individual session per week and up to nine hours of group sessions per week. Their outpatient opioid treatment program focuses on medication assisted treatment and group therapy. Methadone is used to treat withdrawal symptoms, management cravings, and help with a life of sobriety.
People have said this place has done wonders for them and counselors are really good.
