When you are struggling with an addiction, they can provide different treatment tracks depending on your needs. For example, there is a specific women’s program focused on trauma informed.
If you struggle with an opioid use disorder or alcohol use disorder, they provide medication assisted treatment to help during withdrawal or to reduce cravings. They prescribe Vivitrol for alcohol use disorders and buprenorphine if you struggle with an opioid addiction.
They host orientation groups to help new clients acclimate to the center. They work to ensure your evaluations are done within a week so you can begin treatment. There are 60 weekly groups at a wide variety of times so treatment can be convenient for everyone.
Treatment begins with stabilization which moves into early recovery. You then are in the personal recovery skills stage, which is usually the longest. You’ll connect with peers and earn personal recovery skills and identify negative emotions and beliefs that have led to addictive actions and behaviors.
The last stage is life skills and relapse prevention where you focus on creating a supportive therapeutic model which promotes your recovery journey and teaches you life skills that help prevent relapse.
