Cascade Behavioral Health Hospital was a mental health hospital in Tukwila, Washington, that has closed. When it was open, it had treatment programs for drug addiction and alcohol addiction. It was part of the Acadia Healthcare network, which has about 250 other locations in the US and Puerto Rico.
This hospital focused on giving every person the complete care they needed to get back on their feet and recover from their addiction. They had treatment for every step of recovery including acute medical detox so this hospital could be your first step when you are ready to get help. They would help you through detox and withdrawal and then guide you through therapy and other treatments for long term sobriety.
Cascade Behavioral Health really took a comprehensive approach to addiction recovery. They would work with patients in a culturally relevant way to make sure everyone’s care reflected what they needed. They took social wellness into account too to help patients build a support system for sobriety. Unfortunately, many clients did have frustrations with the hospital and said it wasn’t well organized and that the services they received weren’t very individualized.
The good news is that even though this hospital closed, there are still plenty of other rehabs in the area where you can get help.
