Chances Sober Living Homes support the long term sobriety of adults in recovery in Riverside, California. They provide support and recovery education for adults who do not need higher intensity inpatient treatment.
Their sober living program is ideal if you’re stepping down from an inpatient detox or rehab program but you’re not ready to live independently. They’re a family owned operation with experience in helping clients develop essential life skills to help them maintain their sobriety across the long term.
You’ll be expected to abide by house rules, which could include agreeing to random drug and alcohol screenings. You’ll also participate in household chores and engage in ongoing treatment. This might include regular attendance at 12 step meetings and recovery education programs.
Living in a sober home with peers who are also in recovery helps you learn coping skills to manage stress, anxiety, trauma, and addiction triggers without turning to drugs or alcohol. In the sober house, you’ll develop personal accountability to help you take responsibility for your life and sobriety.
