Community Counseling Center – Ridgeway House is a women’s only mental health treatment program. You can participate in their residential treatment program to receive support. Ridgeway House is a dialectical behavioral therapy based program specializing in personality disorders. They are located in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
This 10 bed facility is an intensive residential treatment program. During your stay, you’ll work toward stabilization alongside personal goals to establish a healthy routine and habits for recovery. Treatment takes place in individual and group settings, giving you both individual attention and the chance to support and collaborate with others in treatment.
I like the focus on dialectical behavioral therapy. There’s no one “right” therapy when it comes to mental health, but dialectical behavioral therapy is very skills oriented. It helps you develop and practice ways to cope with symptoms in a healthy way that can also lower the risk of relapse.
