About Community Healthlink – Worcester
Serving the community of Worcester, Massachusetts, Community Healthlink is an addiction treatment and mental health program affiliated with UMass Community Healthlink. The Community Healthlink department offers a variety of support services including addiction treatment, mental health care, counseling, primary care and housing.
The Clinical Stabilization Service Program is a 30-day post detox treatment program that provides intensive treatment for people in the early stages of recovery. During treatment you’ll engage in community based support and group and individual therapy. While enrolled in this program you’ll gain stability and learn the necessary skills to transition to a substance free lifestyle. They’ll also help you with case management and a comprehensive aftercare plan.
Recovery coaching will help you in relation to understanding your personal experience. Your recovery coach will help you build deeper insight and create a recovery network. Their job is also to help you make a recovery plan centered around your personal recovery goals.
Another important note about Community Healthlink is that they also offer office-based treatment programs that include medication assisted treatment. Suboxone, Sublocade and Vivitrol may be used to treat drug cravings and uncomfortable withdrawal symptoms. This program also provides group and individual counseling sessions.
