You’ll meet with a care team that will determine whether medication-assisted treatment (MAT) can be beneficial for your circumstances. FDA-approved medications including Vivitrol, Suboxone, and Blockade can be prescribed to you here. These medications allow you to navigate recovery by minimizing your cravings which can lead to a reduced risk of relapse.
You’ll also have access to regular therapy at this clinic. You’ll work with trained and experienced drug and addiction counselors. Through both individual and group counseling sessions you’ll learn how to identify triggers that have contributed to your substance use and how to navigate negative thoughts and emotions.
You’ll also learn different coping strategies to help guide your sobriety. You’ll also find aftercare support to help you plan out your recovery goals post-treatment.
You can get referred to other services and organizations as well if your circumstances require it. The services can include recovery coaching, case management and on-site primary care.
