About CompDrug – Columbus
CompDrug is an outpatient drug and alcohol rehab located in Columbus, Ohio. They provide an intensive outpatient program, outpatient treatment, medication-assisted treatment, and mental health care for adults with substance use disorder and mental illness.
The intensive outpatient program is a trauma-informed program that consists of nine hours of group therapy per week, over three days per week. Each participant also has one hour of individual therapy per week. When IOP participants have completed 95 hours of treatment (approximately 10 weeks), they are considered to be finished with the program.
The outpatient program helps individuals restore daily functioning within their communities. This program includes a combination of clinical intervention, family support, recreational activities, relationship building, relapse prevention training, and on-site psychiatric training.
Specialized pregnancy and parenting program paths exist. Pregnant patients get access to case management, a prenatal support group, prenatal care, and patient care through the baby’s second birthday.
