About Door To Hope – The Door – Salinas
Door to Hope is a nonprofit mental health and substance abuse recovery program. You’ll find ’em in Salinas, California. They provide inpatient (IP), outpatient (OP), and medication assisted treatment (MAT) programs for teen and adult clients. There are specialized treatment programs for young women and teens. They provide ongoing support for families, including foster programs and services.
The short-term inpatient residential program is open to teen females living with mental illness and drug or alcohol addiction. This intensive program seeks to support clients by improving decision-making and independence while offering clinical support, all in a home-like residential setting. Treatments may include assessments, individual therapy, group therapy, motivational enhancement, family counseling, seeking safety, academic support, and dual diagnosis treatment.
The outpatient program allows clients to receive treatment while continuing to live at home. It’s available on a flexible schedule and to adults.
Some clients may benefit from the use of prescription medication during treatment, which MAT provides. Such medication is designed to help clients cope with withdrawal symptoms and cravings. All medication use through MAT is monitored by staff.
Many major insurance plans, such as Cigna, Beacon, and Value Options, cover some or all of the rehabilitation costs. Clients are encouraged to confirm their coverage before enrolling, as out-of-network benefits may vary.
