About El Dorado Texas Community Center – Pharr
El Dorado Texas Community Center is a dual diagnosis addiction treatment center in Pharr, Texas. They offer a number of outreach and education services, as well as outpatient therapy programs for patients 13 and older. Services at this center are free of charge.
This center operates as an outreach program for Texas, with a number of locations throughout the state. Their goal is to make sure that the population is healthy, particularly those between the ages of 13 and 17. They accomplish this through a variety of outpatient programs for behavioral health and substance use disorder. As such, patients with any combination of mental health or addiction issues can find care here.
Although their services are not medical, this center offers highly structured therapy programs. Usually, programs are 12 weeks and consist of lots of individual and group therapy. They have five programs for substance use: Access to Care, Fueling Hope, Empowering Hope, Monarch and Nueva. Monarch is for underage clients, and the others are adult programs. Access to Care and Nueva Start are aimed at patients who are facing legal trouble or in prison. Clients will have two or more sessions per week in each program, and they can even receive telehealth care.
As this is a free rehab center, it’s not surprising that clients have mixed things to say about it. It’s worth noting, though, that any negative reviews apply to their phone system. Once clients get an appointment, though, they have nothing but good to say. The facilities are gorgeous, and the programming is strong, showing that this is an excellent choice for a free rehab.
