About Embark Behavioral Health – Campbell – Campbell
Embark Behavioral Health Campbell is located in Campbell, California inside Hamilton Plaza. They’re focussed on treating mental health issues along with substance abuse. They treat anybody from 12-28 years old, including LGBTQ+ and non binary as well.
They strive to help young people meet and beat the challenges of emotional and behavioral difficulties. They look for harmful behaviors such as self harm or substance abuse or any other unsafe activities that might mean you have a more serious mental health condition and need to be in one of their programs.
In their intensive outpatient program or IOP, therapy sessions are typically done in the evening so you can go to school or work. Sessions last from one to five hours and you’ll meet four to six times per week.
The partial hospitalization program or PHP is a more structured one and it’s for 12-28 year olds who need the most intensive outpatient care. The good thing about this program is that you can still return home instead of most typical PHPs and inpatient or residential programs where you can’t. You’ll get structured hospital level support here and it’s great for those who are considered a danger to themselves.
They also have a virtual intensive outpatient program which is great for patients and their families who might have obstacles commuting to the treatment center. You’ll work with a managed care coordination team that provides a level of care that meets the quality you’d receive in person.
All of their programs have different payment options. They take in network, out of network and self pay, and they offer single case agreements for out of network payments.
People who have been here say it’s a beautiful facility that puts teens and parents at ease, they have beautiful therapy dogs, and the administrators are dedicated. Others have said they felt there was a little too much downtime while there, especially during the first day.
