About Fenway Health’s Ansin Building – Boston

Fenway Health’s Ansin Building, formerly known as Fenway Pharmacy: South End, in Boston, Massachusetts, offers medication assisted treatment (MAT) for substance use disorders. Since there is no one size fits all approach to recovery, they provide a range of options to assist people in taking back their lives and reintegrating into their communities, families and workplaces.

Quick enrollment is a primary goal so that you can begin your recuperation process right away. Patients can get all of their medical care including a pharmacy in one location as they incorporate MAT into primary care. This location offers MAT with Vivitrol and Suboxone.

They also provide a range of psychotherapy groups in addition to their MAT services. Studies indicate that group therapy can be just as successful as individual therapy. The goal of their 10 to 16 week skill based psychotherapy groups is to equip participants with tangible skills and knowledge. By promoting active participation, skill development, and enhanced self awareness, these sessions help participants successfully complete group experiences. These sessions are covered by most insurance policies.

In order to improve participation and help clients reach their individual treatment objectives, they also offer non skills based psychotherapy groups. Free drop in support groups are offered to people looking for a more informal network. Despite not being part of the official psychotherapy framework, these groups help participants feel empowered, educated and part of a community. These tools are intended to foster a friendly atmosphere, encourage mutual aid and assist your recovery process regardless of whether you decide to engage in person or virtually through Zoom.
