About Four Corners Regional Health Center – Kayenta
The Navajo Department of Behavioral Health Services runs the Four Corners Regional Health Center in Kayenta, Arizona. This center is for American Indians and Alaska Natives in the United States. They work in partnership with Tribes, Tribal organizations and Urban Indian health organizations. They provide proven and culturally-based activities for their clients.
This center provides prevention, early intervention and outpatient treatment for drug and alcohol abuse. They also provide traditional Native services as well as faith-based services.
At Four Corners, you’ll participate in group and family therapy as well as individual counseling. You’ll uncover the underlying factors that led to your addictive behaviors. You’ll learn about addiction as a disease and discover healthy coping strategies, anger management tools and learn how to reduce your stress.
Aftercare services are in place to support you after you finish your treatment. This’ll give you an anchor in the recovery community as you move forward in your lifelong recovery.
In order to access these services, you’ll need your certificate of Indian blood, social security card, photo ID, and any referral or legal documents that are relevant. Four Corners accepts intakes daily during their business hours. Walk-in clients are welcome.
