About Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Health Services – Madison Road – Cincinnati

Home of the first Major League Baseball team, Cincinnati, Ohio, also features Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Health Services – Madison Road. Since 2004, they’ve served adults, youth and families seeking addiction and dual diagnosis treatment. You can access various outpatient programs to meet you where you are in recovery.

With outpatient care, you can get the help you need without stepping away from daily responsibilities, like work, school and family. Before starting treatment, you’ll participate in an assessment to determine your recovery goals and the best level of care for you. Their programs provide group and individual sessions as well as prevention and intervention services.

What stands out most to me is their intervention programs. These tracks emphasize behavior change to reduce your risk of developing substance use disorder, driving under the influence and incarceration.

Of these services, the Parent & Adolescent Drug Awareness (PADA) program really caught my eye. This court connected youth intervention program offers tailored addiction education for children and their parents. I think this is a great harm reduction approach that can bring families together and keep them on the right path.

Another cool feature I noticed was their specialized outreach programs. They provide targeted community support for women and youth who are at risk of substance abuse. They strive to prevent addiction before it even begins with these tailored educational programs.

Some former clients mentioned issues with treatment consistency and scheduling. Still, some felt they received compassionate care and enjoyed their services. Recovery looks different for everyone. Be sure to research and consider multiple facilities to find the right fit.
