Helio Health – Harriet May Mills House is a sober living home located in Syracuse, New York. They provide temporary housing and food for women who are experiencing a substance use disorder.

The facility was designed for women who have already completed an inpatient treatment program. They provide group therapy as well as peer support services.

Residents are expected to do household chores and attend house meetings. Most people live in the facility for five or six months.

This facility is certified by the New York Office of Addiction Services and Supports. They are part of the Helio Health service. Helio provides a range of recovery services for men and women in recovery. Once you have completed your stay, you can continue outpatient therapy sessions at one of Helio’s offices.

This is the perfect place for women to recover. It is located in the historic former home of women’s suffragist Harriet May Mills. A native of Syracuse, Ms. Mills traveled all over the country organizing marches and speaking on behalf of women’s rights.
