Horizon Behavioral Health is a network of mental and behavioral health treatment centers. This particular location in Bedford, Virginia is called the Horizon Wellness Center at Bedford. It’s located on the eastern side of town near Independence Park.

Some groups are part of the intensive outpatient program which meets several times a week while others meet less frequently but still consistently. They also have continuing care here for when you are stable in your sobriety and need ongoing support to maintain your recovery.
This outpatient therapy center accepts all health insurance plans so your therapy may be covered. They also welcome walk ins to begin your treatment and they have same day appointments whenever possible. For your convenience, they even have an on site pharmacy.
I found the client feedback about this treatment center to be interesting. For the most part clients say that they’re very happy with the care they receive here. They say the therapists are kind and caring and that they guide them in the personalized way they need. But there are several clients who have frustrations and concerns with other staff here. Multiple clients say that communication is poor and they don’t get calls returned.
