Additionally, the Advanced Center for Psychotherapy at the hospital offers clients mental health treatment and limited substance use disorder (SUD) treatment. The hospital is on the Van Wyck Expressway in Richmond Hill, New York in Queens. They accept insurance from many major providers as well as Medicare and Medicaid.
Only 14 miles from Manhattan in New York City, Jamaica Hospital offers comprehensive counseling services through the Advanced Center for Psychotherapy (ACP). The therapists at the center are board certified or board eligible.
The ACP is affiliated with the New York State Board of Regents which charters the ACP. The staff includes social workers, psychologists, and psychiatrists. Therapists at the center provide individual and group psychotherapy. Additionally, they provide medications and medication monitoring and management for mental health medications.

However, for more intensive SUD services, you can get a referral to one of two convenient locations, one in Forest Hills, and one in Jamaica Estates.
