Lake Area Recovery Center – Turning Point is a residential substance use disorder treatment center for men. They are located in Ashtabula, Ohio. Medicaid is accepted. They also offer a sliding fee scale based on your household income.
Their residential program lasts 30 to 90 days. During that time you’ll reside in a highly structured environment where you’ll attend four or five therapy sessions per day. These daily sessions total 38 hours of treatment per week.
You’ll also receive a physical exam to monitor your medical health. Testing for sexually transmitted diseases is available along with disease education. Medication assisted treatment is only offered if deemed necessary. Adult and parenting education classes are also available.
