About Liberation Programs – Stamford
Liberation Programs are CARF accredited and specialize in treating adults and adolescents with substance use disorders of every kind. They have several locations in Fairfield County, including the clinic on Main Street in Stamford, Connecticut. The clinic offers inpatient and outpatient services, including medication assisted treatment (MAT). They also offer women’s outreach as well as health education for people with chronic diseases such as HIV/AIDS.
They accept insurance and Medicaid and can help you enroll in coverage if you don’t have any. Services are not denied due to inability to pay, and there may be research programs you can join that have some form of pay, such as gift cards.
The women’s REACH program is designed for pregnant women and mothers with substance use and co occurring disorders. The program aims to provide recovery resources, connections, outreach, and engagement to women, LGBTQIA+, grandparents, fathers, and any type of parenting partner or supporters whose lives are impacted by substance use by the parent. A recovery navigator helps individuals connect to resources such as community support, harm reduction, MAT, and behavioral healthcare.
The Liberation House in Stamford is an inpatient program where they treat up to 64 men at a time. The program lasts up to 90 days. The outpatient services at the Stamford Clinic are unique because they use a harm reduction model, allowing them to meet people where they are. They help clients reconnect with their families, become gainfully employed and leave crime behind, and improve their quality of life. They also provide evidence based outpatient treatment to help people break free from substance use once and for all.
