Malibu Angel House is a private substance abuse sober living home in Malibu, California. They provide adult inpatient treatment in an intimate home-like setting. They maintain a small number of clients to promote a closer and more collaborative recovery community.
Malibu Angel House is designed to support clients who are in or have recently completed a treatment plan. The residence acts as a safe community home where clients can practice what they learned in treatment as they reintegrate into their communities. Residents participate in 12 Step groups (both in and out of the house) and drug and alcohol testing. Staff also assist clients by coordinating their ongoing care with outside providers. Coordinated services include detox services, outpatient treatment, therapy, and addiction counseling. They also provide support for families of clients.
Private insurance providers, such as Cigna, Aetna, BlueCross BlueShield, Beacon, and Anthem may cover some or all of addiction treatment costs. Clients should always confirm coverage before enrolling in a treatment plan, as out of network benefits may vary.
