About Mayo Clinic Health System – Le Sueur
Mayo Clinic Health System’s Le Sueur location in Minnesota is a now-defunct healthcare center. Formerly part of the Ridgeview Le Sueur Medical Center, it closed down in 2023. Behavioral health services were featured here, including addiction treatment. Financial assistance was available here.
Clients here would begin their recovery journey through an initial intake process in which the team would get to grips with their unique situation and needs. From here, they would develop personalized treatment plans for each client to guide them through their addiction recovery.
Various treatment programs were available, including a residential mental health and addiction treatment program for adult men and their families. Outpatient services were also available, as well as continuing care for individuals who needed extra support due to trouble with relapse.
Services available on these programs included but weren’t limited to individual and group therapy, family education, addiction education, support and recovery groups, and transition services. The therapy style most often used here was cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Specialized programming for teens was also available
The core treatment approach here was guided by 12 Step recovery principles that were integrated as part of all of the available programs.
Influence and components of motivational enhancement, as well as cognitive behavioral traditions were also woven in to provide clients with a solid basis for relapse prevention training.
